Just to start things out

I am sick of the way that Sun is treating Java. They think that it belongs only to them. This is a community project! Many experts devoted their time, skills, and hearts to making Java a success. As soon as Sun had some financial challenges they turned to monetizing their ownership of Java. Just look at the mess the J2ME part of the JCP is in. Here is a suggestion for Sun; spin the JCP off to its own true body with complete control of Java and its licensing models.
